If you asked any of my agemates what the oldschool music in kenya was like, you will definately be hearing of the akina k-shaka, Hardstone, and Swahili nation,if 90's makes any sense; but the majority will pick the music we listened to in the early 2000...kina E-sir, k-rupt and the rest. Little will you hear them mention the music of the 60,70,and 80's, as if there was no music to celebrate in our beloved country. I reality iof you have a good taste of music, without having a biase to any genre in specific, you will realise that there were aerly great in this scene. We need to promote this music so as to embrace our beloved Kenyan culture and growth in the entertainment industry. Let us all salute our yester year music heroes!

I have just realized that the years are running away so fast...and am stuck to the young self trying to think this will make me younger...think I need start realizing what life is offering me and enjoy it to the fullest. There will come a time when I will miss this years. Someone tells me to invest for the future. I ask myself, if our government is bringing down all our hard earned living...look at te demolisions in Syokimau, why the need. If I purchase a piece of land now, what are the chances it belongs to either KAA or Kenya railways or much worse to an individual who owned Kenya at one time and I will be evicted and my property reduced to rubbles? I tend to believ that I should live for the moment and think less of tomorrow as most of what is on offer now is either ill gotten or belongs to someone....
Life is not cruel, it is us humans who are not humane enough to others. Many are dying, and many more are yet to die...dont ask me why.....
Lookingf at the happenings in this world and closer home, in Nairobi, one really wonders if all is going on well or the world is finally coming to an end as we have been told in the numerous movies and programs about 2012. The stories about the galactical alignment (Nostadamus) and the prediction of the end of the world (The Mayan calender), leave me confused.
That there is always a cycle in everything on this earth? Does this mean that the cureent technological advancements are not actually inventions nor innovations but just part of the cycle and there was a time when such was actually in existence on earth? What of the human evolution, are we still evolving and will we evolve to a more intelligent being than what is the current being? Or will we evolve to an extend that we will be at par with the gods? If the world does come to an end on 21st December 2012, what will remain of this place earth? will there be another cycle and evolution or creation take place again? What if as predicted in Revelation(bible), there starts occurences to mark the end? How many of us will make it to heaven? Or what if the sun starts undergoing self destruction and mark the end of it as a star? What if our universe as we know it collided with another galaxy and we were absorbed into it? What if there are other planets like earth out there and have a much highly advanced being that our own human race?
By any chance, what if Jesus came back today, how many of our church leaders will go to heaven? With the current chrch having been converted into money minting machines who siphone and drain off all that can be squeezed out of the poor, I predoct a very big surprise. I believ our church leaders will not only go to hell, but will be used as fuel for the other sinners who were amingst their flock.
As has been proved, the moon is slowly drifting away from the earth and at one time it will completely be gone. Also, there are black holes in space which might engulf any of the stars. Or is it too much reading that we start fearing for eventualities that might never occur?

This was conveyed by Telkom president director Rinaldi Firmansyah, when met at the House of the Ministry of SOEs, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jakarta, Thursday (15/09/2011).

Then Rinaldi said the election advisors will be completed within 10 days. Advisors will help Telkom to provide input and associated restruktur buying shares in Telkomsel SingTel. According to Rinaldi, the purchase of shares in Telkomsel SingTel is a priority of Telkom.
As is known, Telkom re interested in buying shares in Telkomsel SingTel invested by 35%. If the share repurchase is the case then Telkom will again have a stake in Telkomsel by 100%. Approval of share repurchase plan was approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) Telkom some time ago.
Related to the addition of directors Telkomsel, Rinaldi said, the addition of directors from five to delapann Telkomsel continue in the talks. Rinaldi asserted, in the arrangement of the new directors Telkomsel forward there will be no vice president.

This year the highest CPO BK occurred in March through 25%. Then continue to decline as April had dropped BK CPO reached 22.5% in May fell to 17.5%, in July rose to 20%.

I look back five years and won't seem to realize what the hell happened to my life.Back then I was a student undertaking studies in a science course at a college. I had ambitions of becoming a top researcher in the plant, if I never made it to the medical, field; that was then...loving my molecular biology and trying to learn more. Came out of college and landed my self in this blue chip company to try and make ends meet. At first the money seemed enough till many responsibilities came my way. I am now stuck in the same position trying to find my way out but I doubt if all will be well.
I am deciding to go back to class and try rekindle the old bright mind in me....Hopefully before i turn thirty I will have gained enough to help me have some control in the future of what I anticipate for me. May God help me put as I try to pursue the lost me.

I have been trying to come up with something good or even thoughtful of who i am but have ended up deleting everything. It has come a time I realize me as an individual and not managed by rules and regulations of the extended family.
Of late, I have been in a crisis of some sort. I hope it will go away and return the normal me back to life. My life is all about receiving news from many about them being in a financial crisis that I should pull them from. The fact that I work for an 'abnormal profit' making organization does not make me rich. I struggle in life just like any other hard-up individual; living from pocket to mouth. The moment all will come to realize that I am not a money making machine, I will celebrate out loud.
I have always given out thinking that at some point all will stop. This is not happening soon. The fact that I can be accused of not giving a helping hand to a needful family member, yet I am not informed of the situation, not forgetting that I have never met this needing person in my life, except for family tales,has made me make a resolve: I have my own problems and will not be embroiled in other peoples (family) schemes, unless I am the sole beneficiary. If this will make me be isolated from the others, let it be. I will make friends who are not there to siphon everything I have in the name of family. I believe this will greatly bless my efforts as I will reap from my non-giving approach.
All those who think a person always has money to bail them out of their troubles will never be part of my new me;
If anyone thinks I have come this far so as to finance them, get another person who will listen to you;
I wasted my time in school so that I could enjoy life at some point in life; if you think this was to benefit you because you are family, look somewhere else;
If this makes you hate me, go to hell!

- Kenya is a great country, and I love it. the only problem in Kenya is our, stupidity in voting in stupid people to lead us as legislators. How can a sane leader think of increasing his/her pay to cushion thyself from the mandatory taxation, yet the electorate are dying of starvation? I do not hate the Pm, but he should leave what Kenyans are doing out of the leadership of KCB, NMG and Safaricom CEO's do their own stuff. Stop applauding what you and your government has failed to do! It is high time that Kenyans showed these empty headed politicians that we can do without them. From all directions at the market people gather watching helplessly as two young men clobber each other in an attempt resolve their hatred for each other. The road is dusty, stony and dry. One of the men is wrestled to the ground, hits the dry, dusty surface with his head first; he starts to bleed profusely from the cuts he sustains.
This is just one of the many scenes that locals get entertained to at Jebrock on the 25th December, year in, year out. Most of the young men are drunk, while the few remaining sober are clammering all over looking for a young women to lay with. The young girls the tried their best, they are clad in new dresses of various sorts and colors, hoping to be lucky and meet a mister charming.
Most of the people around this market at such a time are local tourists, most of them having come to celebrate their Christmas at Nineveh, the headquarters of African Israel Church, just neighboring Jebrock, where they sing in their church choirs.
Many church headquarters are based in the vicinity;amongst them Pentecostal Assemblies of God, African Israel Nineveh Church,African Divine Church, Sinai Missions and Roho Israel Church; and might have thought the celebration of Christmas would deter the youngsters from committing vice.
This is just one of the intriguing activities that happen to take place in this remote market...the most famous being the Tiriki circumcision ceremonies that takes place every fifth year of the decade........

All those who see her say she resembles her dad. She is such a beauty. She gets what she wants and knows how to demand for it: by crying out loud, even at 3am! Sleep has become rare as she is asleep when am at work and only wakes up when dad comes back home. I thought that by working in the evening I will manage. As much as I miss the sleep, I just keep her in my thoughts in whatever I do. Hope one day she will appreciate what I am going through to keep us going. To first timers like me, keep faith and never give up!
